My name is Ben and I'm a UX/UI designer and interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Hanoi and currently located in Los Angeles. My diverse experiences facilitate my deep understanding of how visuals and language intersect to build a meaningful experience and communicate a strong brand story.

Graduated from Lawrence University in 2020 with a BA in Mathematics and Studio Arts specializing in Graphic Design, I hustled professionally as a Data Visualization Analyst and Graphic Designer and eventually crossed paths with UX Design in later 2020.
Growing up, numbers and visual arts has been the common ground to how I communicate with the world, so creativity and problem-solving are always the bigger fuels to my values. I am fascinated with how innovation and functionality best interact to build civilization and leverage the potential in everyone. I immersed myself into UX Design with the goal to challenge my abilities as a designer and converge my multidisciplinary approach to different principles.

As a designer, I am constantly curious about the potential of digital products in shaping the surrounding society and always prioritizes accessibility and inclusivity in any design process. This is foundational to my core skills, which involve an iterative and data-driven approach and visual communication using technical software.
I am currently interested in Product Design, Design System and Illustration. I also enjoy cooking, looking at art and reading about meditation.
